Stoep Chat contributor
Melanie Gosling
Melanie Gosling has spent her career caring about the things that matter to the rest of us – the environment, the people, and the stories that shape the world around us.
She spent years as the Cape Times' environmental reporter, covering everything from conservation and wildlife to climate change, energy and water – the big public-interest stories that affect us all. Her work has picked up national recognition along the way, and in 2008 she was chosen as a Nieman Fellow at Harvard University, one of journalism's top honours.
With decades of experience, a sharp eye and a knack for finding the heart of any story, Melanie is right at home on the Stoep Chat.
